The Rootes Group Car Club Inc was established to cater for and promote Rootes Group vehicles.

The club can supply vehicle owners with parts, technical information and advice. It is also a great means of meeting fellow enthusiasts.

There are a number of events that are run by the club or an associated club that are designed to be fun and entertaining and provide an opportunity to meet new people from other clubs and exchange conversation about car related matters, and generally have a great time!



The Club Committee consists of a President; General Secretary / Membership Officer; Treasurer; Tasmanian Contact; Minute Secretary; Librarian; A Social Committee; *A.O.M.C Representatives; Spare parts officer; Magazine editor; and finally a panel of Technical Advisors.

The Panel of Technical advisors are further divided into the following categories:

Hillman (Pre-war), Hillman (Mark Models), Hillman (Series Models), Hillman Hunter, Humber(All Models), Sunbeam(All Models) Singer/Commer/Karrier, Auto Electrical

The club has approximately 100 members and caters for any age group and owners of any type of Rootes Group automobile.

Club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month (except January). New and prospective members are always most welcome to attend these meetings, even if you don't have a Rootes Group Automobile!
